Loaded Brat Dip Recipe & Ingredients
Ingredients
8 oz brat style sausage meat
1 large yellow onion diced
1 cup mixed sweet peppers diced
1 cup Frank’s Kraut drained
2 Tbsp spicy brown mustard
8 oz pale beer
12 oz American cheese loaf product cubed
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown sausage and break into crumbles, over medium heat. Add in onion, peppers and kraut. Sautee until soft, about 2 minutes.
- Add in mustard and beer and reduce.
- Melt in cheese and stir to combine.
- Serve with tortilla chips or pretzels and enjoy!
I’m on a salt restricted diet, do you make any lower sodium kraut? Or is there any way of reducing the sodium level in kraut? Thank you.

No, we do not make a low sodium kraut. To help reduce the salt content you can rinse and drain the kraut before cooking with it.
Is there anywhere u can just buy the liquid from kraut. Love drinking the liquid from kraut
