Kraut Bacon Jam Charcuterie Board

Ingredients

1-pound bacon, chopped fine
1 27-oz can Frank’s Kraut, drained
½ cup brown sugar, tightly packed
Black pepper to taste
crackers of your choice
cheese of your choice

Instructions

  1. In a medium sauce pan, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until it starts to brown.
  2. Add kraut and sugar. Cook until bacon is a deep red, and a sticky jam starts to form
  3. Season with black pepper to taste.
  4. Serve warm with your favorite cheese and crackers. Pairs well with a brie, goat cheese, etc. Pick your favorite and make it your own!

Additional Notes

Add to sandwiches or toast as a spread, or serve over goat cheese with crackers for your next party!

    I LOVE Frank’s sauerkraut, have for my whole life! I like to cook it up with kielbasa and potatoes, I had no idea that there were so many tempting things to make with kraut!! I can’t wait to try some of these tasty recipes!
