Chocolate Kraut Cupcakes Recipe
The delicious Frank’s Chocolate Kraut Cupcakes that you love all dressed up for the July 4th holiday!
Ingredients
For Cake:
1 box cake mix your favorite Devil’s Food cake mix
1 cup Frank’s Kraut, drained
1 ½ cup buttermilk
1 egg
For Frosting:
2 Cans Vanilla Frosting (2 cans = about 4 cups)
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
Red or blue food coloring
Instructions
For Cake:
- Mix together all cake ingredients and divide batter into a 12-count cupcake tin.
- Bake at 350⁰F for 15-20 minutes, (until inside is set and batter is no longer liquid in center).
- Let cool.
For Frosting:
- Add 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar to your vanilla frosting and whip together. Stir in desired amount of red or blue food coloring for decoration.
- Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes and decorate with red, white, and blue sprinkles. Add additional decorations as desired and enjoy!
