just wondering if this recipe would work in a roaster pan in the oven? we don’t have a instant pot.
Hi Tony,
It should work just fine in the oven. You may have to cook it longer.
Is this pressured cook or what?
Yes, we used an Instant Pot for this recipe.
thank you!
Yes you can, You would have to cook it in your oven for about three hours or until meat is ready to slide off the bone with a fork, make sure there’s ALWAYS LIQUID or water in the pan, keep a good eye on it keep the lid tight, temperature about 300 or 325,
Do you put these on a trivet or pot in pot or just layer on the bottom of the pot?
Hi Angie,
For this recipe we just layered the ingredients on the bottom of the pot.
I made these ribs tonight for dinner. Left off the bbq sauce – we all loved it! The rub was really good and the ribs were falling off the bone, and they had great flavor. Thanks for the recipe!
OK, I made this tonight, it was falling off the bone delish, but not brown as pictured! My first Instant Pot dish, it is clearly pressure cooked. Very tasty! But not brown. Doesn’t matter! Enjoy!
Because if you put some oil in then saute each side until brown and then do the recipe. Should turn out good doing it now
I made these on NYD with my new surprise Instant Pot Duo—wow! I cannot believe how flavorful and fall-off-the-bone tender these ribs are! I am a convert with my first recipe! Amazing. I used baby back ribs, Yukon Gold potatoes, and Snow Floss Kraut in the bag.
