Chocolate Kraut Cupcakes

Ingredients

For Cake:
1 box cake mix your favorite Devil’s Food cake mix
1 cup Frank’s Kraut drained
1 ½ cup buttermilk
1 egg
For Frosting:
2 Cans Vanilla Frosting (2 cans = about 4 cups)
1-2 tablespoons Beer your favorite
3 tablespoons sugar powdered

Instructions

For Cake:
  1. Mix together all cake ingredients and divide batter into a 12-count cupcake tin.
  2. Bake at 350⁰F for 15-20 minutes, (until inside is set and batter is no longer liquid in center).
  3. Let cool.
For Frosting
  1. If using, add a splash (about a tablespoon) of your favorite beer to your vanilla frosting, along with 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar.
  2. Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes and decorate as desired. Enjoy and consider sharing with friends and family.
