Ingredients
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9” x 11” casserole dish and set aside.
- In a small mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the spices are fully incorporated into the cream cheese. Next, add the shredded cheese and mix well. Set aside.
- Cut the sausage links into sections that are about 3 inches long. Next, slice horizontally along the top of each piece of sausage, only cutting about three quarters of the way through the sausage, leaving the bottom intact. Carefully stuff each piece of sausage with about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture and place in a single layer in the casserole dish. Next, top each sausage with about 1 tablespoon of the BBQ kraut and sprinkle evenly with the remaining quarter cup of shredded cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sausages are starting to brown.
- Serve with BBQ sauce on the side for dipping and enjoy!
